YLakeland Video Contest

Hi.
Hello.
And Sup?

Danny here and this week I've been one helluva busy person. I'm interning at the L.B. Brown House Museum (located in Bartow on LB Brown Ave) and I got a friend of mine hired with me because I wouldn't be able to clock in those 20hours. It pays 100$ a week but it isn't enough to pay for my car and other expenses so I need to keep that other ungodly job. Bleh.

So, what's up with my title?

Well, I'm entering in the YLakeland Video Contest. Why, Danny, what in the sweet world of rice is that?

YLakeland has a site that is dedicated to showing what there is to do and what events are going on in Lakeland. You can actually search YLakeland and they'll pop. Or my name isn't Danny. Well, technically no. It isn't. It is a nickname, but that's being technical.

Anyway, I'm working on submitting the video right now but heh...it's too big. (Don't you say it.)

I have it up on YouTube so here, take a look.

Yep. Also, Hart Designs may be changing our name to Hart Studios since there are a crap load of Hart Designs out there. Granted we're the only design group that focuses on contradiction and not so much romance-y things but hey, gotta stick out right?

Our FaceBook as Reached 100+ Likes
Which is great! It's not too late to get a Hart and hit like on us either. Click Here to go to our FaceBook. :)

We also have a Pinterist and Instagram. I believe Mark is supposed to be taking care of Pinterest and all of us on Instagram. Pretty cool.

Anyway that's all folks!
Take it easy guys.

Hey! I'm Still Alive, Don't Worry!

Hi.
Hello.
And Sup?

Danny here and yep, still alive. Recently I got an internship with the L.B. Brown House Museum and I think it would be a wonderful chance to learn history that wasn't written in the classroom history books.
Hart Designs is still working on a boat load of projects at the moment from the cartoon illustrations to pushing out designs for customers and our shop. Speaking of our shop, we have a new design called "Smells Fishy" created by Luis Guadalupe and still have more to come.

"Smells Fishy" comes in a tabloid (11x17) poster and shirt with various colors to choose from on our shop and you know our saying:

"Do you have a Hart?"

Answer: Probably not.

Heh, it's a bit of a aggressive push. And, at least I think, a clever way to use our name.

I mean...buying our stuff means you're helping us make a name for ourselves and hopefully in the future get our own machines to make these products ourselves and sell for cheaper than Cafepress.

So, we're still excited whether you buy anything or not. But if anything "Like" our Facebook page and Follow Us on Instagram (hart_designs) for more updates and newest additions.

Right now we're working on updating our Shop on Cafepress and making a new Display Pic for our Facebook. So feel free to stop buy and give some constructive criticism.

^---if you don't remember what that is, it is a Blog with links to all sorts of awesome things. From amazing artists to great literature. As well as contact info for Hart Designs. So, click it and share the love :)

All right, take it easy guys.

Projects...

Hi.
Hello.
And Sup?

Creative Portfolio.
Creative Resume.
Finishing my portfolio.
Tweaking my resume.
Tweaking my portfolio.
Coming up with a unique creative portfolio.
 Slaying that dragon.

Mm...Dragon.

That's what I'm looking forward to this week and next. Oh, and finish those...two...projects...

Which are...wine bottle label (I came up with either STOP or Burn Out wine ideas) and Kleenex ad series.

Welp, let's uh, get back to that.

Portfolio Confidence

Hi.
Hello.
And Sup?

Danny here with another blog update. So I'm in applied multimedia and design A.K.A. portfolio class and I'm going through blasts of the past. I love seeing where I used to be and where I am now. I think it's quite a huge difference. Ever since I started the pursuit for my career my eyes have been opened wider and wider and I can see more things in the world for what they are and beyond.

If only people skeptical about this field saw what we as designers see, then they'd understand that there's a place for people like me. People who enjoy design, who love that feeling of bliss when we satisfy a customer or that strive to be better when we don't meet their needs.

It's a never ending roller coaster, and hey I love me some thrills. So let's kick it back in gear man, and let's get this coaster rocking!

Long Time No See, No?

Hi.
Hello.
And Sup?

Danny here with a blog after a long, long time of no posts. Pretty much what was going on was trading in Layla (My 2000 Mazda Millennia S) for my new char Benigno (Toyota Corolla S 2012, named after my grandfather). Other than, my design group HART hasn't posted anything new. Luis is in classes again and we're expecting something new from him. Me, myself, I've something in mind and the projects I listed previously (probably in the other sites) on hand. I'm waiting 'til my next pay check to start the creative suite for my MacBook so I can work on some stuff at home. It would help me a lot. I mean a LOT.

The Attack on the Intolerant
That project is another cartoon using the newly revamped Fayt Hart in his new horrific scene. The poor kitten is being tormented by an Evil Milk bottle. Yes, We, he, I, Lu are all lactose intolerant. It doesn't really stop us but it did that day when I dropped Lu off at the airport. We had a big breakfast with lots of cheese in the eggs. Didn't blow off too well. And that, ladies and gents is how Attack on the Intolerant came to be.

Other than that we still have some typography and Reef Dynasty logo to finish.

Reef Dynasty? WHOA! Still not done?

Well, no. The client has been having a bit of a hard time. So, when we finish it and FINALLY finish this god forsaken project, I'm sorry I shouldn't say that, but seriously, I would like to finish this.

That's about it.

Take it easy guys.

Definitely Been a While

Hi.
Hello.
And Sup.

I'm back to updating this on my own stuff. That means Hart and novels and more!
Excited? Probably not.
Oh well.

So, update:

Fayt and I are split. Yep. My name, or the creator of Hart and of Fayt Hart himself is Danny. Obviously, short for Daniel but you get the point. I'll explain further down about myself and Fayt and why we split (kinda).

Our Hart Designs Shop on Cafepress is being updated. Finally, right? Tired of that orange and black? Bleh. Us too. So we now have BLACK! AND GREY! Wooooooot! It a default template from Cafepress, I didn't want to mess around with the HTML too much. So I chose a template called Sci-Fi. Pretty neat and clean. Yep.

On our shop there's now sub sections, which will be getting Icons soon so don't worry if you don't see any, called Typography Beasts and Danny's Shadows. Typography Beasts is a subsection for shirts (for both men and women, sporty or not) that include our up and running series Typography Beasts. Well, gee Danny what is that?

Glad you asked.

Typography...oh still purple. Ahem...
Typography Beasts is a series that's directed by Luis Guadalupe (also known as Ester, the second Hart Brother) who's started creating these animals from everyday typefaces. Here is an example of what we are talking about:

That little fella is called Cochin Cat. It's is a kitten that's created out of a typeface called Cochin. Looking closely you can see the individual letters that form the figure and after all, we humans perceive things by shapes. So when a bunch of letters form this figure, what do we see?

Answer: Cat

And back to red. We have Cochin Cat, Dakota Wolf and some others waiting to be seen by you at the Cafepress shop. What? Don't know what our website link is? Well, stay tuned til the bottom of this post or click the cat.

We have some new works coming as well. As you already know, the Poster side of the shop has been under construction for almost a year. That is because we've been busy keeping up with classes, projects and work we're kinda being slaughtered. But design is our gateway. Anywho, Poster side will be up and running whenever class for Luis starts and Mark gets on his vacation (which is soon).

Creepy, which features the new member of Hart and new creature to the family, is a harsh shadowed Face design. And that's going to be a new sub section on our shop. Hart character faces harshly shadowed and large on the chest of your shirt. Nothing saying Hi, like that. Ok, tangent again. Creepy features HiImMark! named after the one and only Mark. Funny story behind that actually, but that's for another time. HiImMark is an unknown creature who's creepy face says nothing about his extremely soft insides. Caring thing really, it's really only a face a mother can love. Or not. I'm not even sure.

Our other ideas are called Backstabber and Hatred for Check Engine. Pretty cool concepts which I'll have sketched and sent to the boys sooner or later.

Other than, things are wrapping up with Mercado (our client of Reef Dynasty exotic coral and fishes) and the One Love clients. Hopefully more clients come our way.

I do plan on getting back to writing. My series have been suffering my abandoning since I become ungodly busy. Hopefully this long break helped my mind with coming up with more interesting plot to continue my series. Sin7 will be continued and so will In Loving Memory: Aiden's Story.

Story time with Danny:

Hello everyone, and welcome to Story time with Danny. Once upon a time, Danny moved to Florida leaving most his family and closest friends behind in New York. Things were so difficult to absorb in Florida and he found it hard to adjust. He called his friend Melanie almost daily and wrote stories to pass the day by. One October Danny was inspired. Motivated. He realized that getting what he wants for his future career is something he needs to stand up, run and take that leap of faith to grab it. And so Hart was born.

Though, he fought tooth and nail and possibly even bone to persuade his parents to his side, he still felt a bit skeptic whether they believe in him in this field of Design or not. One day he asked one of his folks, "Do you really think I won't make it?"
Only to be responded with, "We haven't seen any of your work, we don't know if you're good enough."

Those words, 'good enough,' rang in his head. Little Danny thought to himself, "What is "good enough?" No one's better or worse, all comes down to how they execute what they/the client wants." He believed in his own words, that his own flaws, faults and weaknesses could be a strength in his field of battle. He knew the world was cut throat, literally, there's been bath salts accident, it really is cut throat. Ahem, he knew the world was cut throat and that he alone stood little chance.

Doodling in class one day, it hit him. Cartoons. Illustration. Those two things he has done ever since he was a child watching Pokemon. He drew a curious little cat. One with an uneasy grin, demonically red piercing eyes and sleek black fur. The first phase of Fayt has begun. The cat took the name with comfort as if it belonged to it all along. Belong Danny didn't just create an evil little thing. He created an alter ego. He created Fayt Hart. Fayt Hart was then revamped to a teddy bear like creature. Still devilish, and mischievous but in a cuter image.

That meant Danny's own confidence and self esteem was restoring. People loved Fayt, and even loved his lazy brother Ester the panda who was created along side Fayt. And so the Play characters were created.

Much has happened that Fayt and Danny always stuck together. Fayt on Danny's shoulder's where ever he went. Now, Fayt and Danny are two entities. Still one in the same, but one lives a life as the other's puppet. And Danny's shadow finally gained life of its own.

Danny's Shadow is Fayt. All his techniques, accomplishments, goals and dreams rests in Fayt's furry little teddy bear like shoulders. Because Fayt is Hart's mascot, and there's no one more devious than an adorable kitten whose eyes are set towards destruction.

That was story time with Danny. The End.

The End

Hi.
Hello.
And Sup.

This week, because I didn't post a blog just literally a few seconds ago, I'm finishing some projects. They include 4 page spread and 60second animation. I'll be working with Mark on a small kitty animation. It's gon be good. Trust me. Other than, I met a new potential employer who's the president of  GPI (Great Products, Inc) who may hire us for some touch up on his logos. It's looking good kiddos!

Bye.

Week 3

Hi.
Hello.
And Sup.

Flash is interesting. I'm actually quite confused. At the same time, not. I know what I want, and what I have to do. It just doesn't play nicely.

Bye.

All the Systems Go!

Hi.
Hello.
And Sup.

I missed the meeting on Tuesday with a client due to Layla (my car) being a hissy-fit spazz McQueen. However, I spoke with that said client and we'll reschedule and wait until everything is good and ready to start up again. I was hoping not to spend an ungodly amount of money (which I have already, I swear you'll get what's coming to you Mr. Bruce. That's just Karma.) on Layla besides the regular tires, breaks, gas. But no. If I had the option to check it off, it'd be all of the above. Oh well, what are you going to do?

We, as Hart Designs, got an opportunity to work with a non-profit charity group in California (job found by our very own Luis Guadalupe also known as/or portrayed as Ester Hart the Panda). We are to create two concepts for this charity called One Love. It's a charity to raise awareness to speak up with your voice and actions, stop bullying and accept everyone of any race, gender and sexuality. We charged only $75 only mainly because we knew (although not fond of) the client. And hey, if it helps get our name out in places we don't normally travel to, I say better for us.

Other than that, our client with Reef Dynasty has been steadily stalled. He is expecting a baby and has other issues with his website. We're going to continue productions and have it ready for him. We charged him $300 with $100 up front. Contract and everything. So professional.

Class wise, well, it's flash. Oh boy. Frustration among frustration but I'm slowly getting it. We're doing a small 30second animation for the final, or rather part of the final project. Wish I had more time to draw things out to animate. Oh well. I'll come up with something. I always do.

Flash Forward!

Hi.
Hello.
And Sup.

Class has started. What am I saying? I've been in class for a while. However, I am back in the graphics lab and it feels oh so good to be back. We're now working on FLASH and I'm just so well versed in it.

Actually, no. I lied.

It's difficult to grasp and I swear the program trolls me. But it's fine. S'all good. I'll figure it out and bother people for help if need be. The projects themselves are pretty entertaining. The thought process of all the work for the projects I have I think are wonderful ideas. I really think they're effective. But actually doing it on FLASH is proving to be a chore. And we all hate chores, don't we?

It'll take some extra time to get used to it. I've watched some tutorials on FLASH and what not. I'm now interested in joining the stick figure animation band wagon. Just saying. But I really need to get this 20 second flash ad. I have an awesome idea. I'm doing the ad on Captain Morgan. I love rum. I do. Don't judge me on that. I was going to have the ship sail in with crashing wave MP3 playing. Then a guy popping up on the bow (That's the front right?) and pull off the Captain Morgan pose.

Yeah, I failed.

So my new idea. I will still have the boat drift in with the waves. Instead of posing I'll have sudden images appearing and snip-its of Skeletons on Parade by LUDO playing on the heavy pirate rock part. It'll be good. Trust me.

Hello Boys and Girls, It's Time to Play in Hellfire

Hi.
Hello.
And Sup, Blogger.

I'm back from the Jamaica wedding and it was pretty sweet. Check our Youtube for me talking about it, it was pretty sweet.

I met someone there too, she was a gorgeous thing. Wish I saw her one last time. We spoke for a bit for a few days and I didn't see her again. Other than, the slideshow was spectacular. She loved it. And now that we have the signing of the contract done Monday we're set to finish this guy's logo. I also have two other works heading our way so who knows?

Here's the latest Daily Harts, and yes I did fix the numbers.

Anyhow, how's everyone? Missed me? Probably not. But that's okay. Hart is going strong right now. Can't stop me know!

Hey Guys, I'll be MIA!

Hi. Hello. And Sup Blogger,

Fayt here and yes I know it's been quite some time. I've been busy and pleased to inform you that I am indeed getting my mini laptop fixed and I have been working with a client on his upcoming business (Reef Dynasty) logo design. I'm actually going to be meeting him this morning so I need to be all...well... myself. I'll explain the contract and price with him with Mark by my side to back me up and I hope he accepts our offer. For now I can't show you what I've done because the contract wasn't signed yet. So, no promoting for now.

However, we do have a new shirt design on our shop called Harrington Deer. It was made by my little brother (finally getting stuff together) and if you saw it already...I fixed it.

Here's the shop preview.

Pretty cool right? Right.

Other than, I will be missing for awhile. I'm being kidnapped.

By flying pigs with bows&arrows that are actually a shade of yellow than pink. But hey, who cares?

I will be leaving tomorrow morning at around 5AM to Jamaica. Actually, to be precise to Fort Lauderdale then to Jamaica. It's gon' be good, trust me.

Anyhow, oh wait. No. That was pretty much it. Yep.

Take it easy guys.

Don't forget to check other awesome people (besides myself and my friends)!

I'm Not Cry...

Hi, hello and freaking Sup Blogger,

Okay so lately, Hart has been doing some slow progressing. Reason be is because we're all a bit distracted. On the bright side, after this month thing should be going smoothly. Pretty good. I hope.

Anyhow, as the title implies, yes, I am not Cry.

Why do I say that?

Because people on PSN (Playstation Network) pop into my party and go all like:
"Dude you sound and act like Cry!"
"You're totally Cry!"
"Oh Em Gee-gasm CRY!"

Dudes...My name is Daniel Norfleet, or Fayt Hart. I am in no way shape or form Cry.
Okay, maybe in shape and in form. Because you know...we both are human (supposedly) and well...yeah. Yes, I may talk like him sometimes out of habit cause I'm just freaking weird...man. But stop idolizing me like a treasure on a pedestal. I'm not the right person you're doing that for and I believe Cry doesn't like that either. Though, I can't really speak for him. He's a cool guy.

So, all in all, I'm Fayt who goes Hi Hello and Sup.
He's Cry who goes :|

Also, I would like to say it is indeed flattering to say I sound like him. He's cool. But we're two different people-men. So I am not cry, cry is just a cool guy who I'm not.

That's all folks.

Hey Guys!

Hi, Hello and Sup Blogger

Daniel Norfleet, Fayt Hart, here and with some new news. Hehe, new news.

Mark Gines, our newest member, finished #9 of 13 Mascots of Hart. He, for right now, is calling it the Woodsman and the image will soon be up on our Facebook page. Speaking of Facebook page, please go to the bottom of this post and click on our link to our FaceBook Page and like to help support us. We've been stuck on 49 likes and I think it's time we reached 50. We're all struggling to get works for Hart done and I have discontinued a lot of works due to time and what not. But the stuff coming soon is from different flavours and styles of works. And I think you, the general audience, would enjoy at least one of our works.

Luis, or Ester, is slowly catching onto the Daily Harts Video. We're up to #29 and #30 will be up today featuring Mark Gines. See the video on the bottom for the notoriously short&sweet Daily Harts #29.

As for myself, I'm working on the Free Design (which is an optional thing for people who're experiencing blocks at the moment in our group) and may have Trippy Trips or Rippling dreams on its way to coming to life.

I've been working on different images of Grim and just not feeling it. I want fear. More fear. So I went to go see Evil Dead. I think I'm on to something.

I'm also working on a wedding slide show for a Father Daughter Dance. Here's the DVD's menu:

Pretty cool, right?
I also have a quick feature, so let's get into that.

Awesome People Update!

For today's AWESOME PEOPLE update I have two long time friends. One for Literature and one for Photography. Both are really nice gals, and both are really talented. This Blog's link will be posted on their page so they can see their features and I hope it will lead to the EPIC LINK BLOG! Blog for many other people like them to be seen.

So for today's awesome photography we have:

Ellie Freeman

Ellie is a gal who I had the opportunity to meet a very long time ago. She's a real easy person to get along with and one of the nicer gals out there. She does some really amazing photography and houses a group page for her photography. Links are provided below and on the EPIC LINK BLOG! (ELB!) from now on. Give her a look, a like and a fave cause her work is captivating.

Codename: Cressy

Due to the author wishes, I will not release her real name. However, Cressy (is what I call her) is a young poet who enjoys putting her thoughts, emotions and life into words on paper. She has some of the most beautiful poems that I've found myself to be reminded of songs by the Beatles. One to boot is called Wandering the Universe, which ultimately reminds me of Across the Universe (Which both are pretty awesome: The song and the movie). She deserves some comments, reads and views

So let's put some smiles on a couple of girls, shall we? They deserve it.

That's it folks!

Rolling on the River of Darkness

Hi, Hello and Sup Blogger!

I gave a speech today promoting Hart Designs. The crowd gave a thunderous applause and commented, "You may be getting a bunch of likes." I really hope so. We're working deviously hard on making a name for ourselves. And unfortunately, I haven't had time to feature other amazing people on the Epic Link Blog! blog. There are a lot of amazing people out there. The kind, creative and amazing workers that deserve more looks than ignorance. But I will get to it eventually. Do take SOME time to check out the other people mentioned.

Art-wise they make some of the coolest things I've seen and kind of make me a tick jealous. Hehe.

Literature-wise, yes there are mistakes. But you're not reading their work JUST for that. Look at the content and creativity. The authenticism (which I don't think is a word) and imagination. They have some great ideas for novels and believe me there is GOLD in the SEA of REPETITIVE GENRE.

Anyhow, HART has a new member joining the dead. And his name is MARK GINES.

That's right folks, Mark Gines has joined the Dead and his name on the Tombstone isn't where he will be resting. In the small design group of twisted minds, we add more skills to our arsenal. So be prepared to see some cool, scary, and strange stuff. In other words, artwork ahead!

Here's his introductory video:

New designs, new people, new videos, new LIKEs on our FaceBook page, I'm proud to say we're seeing the glimmer of light before the night. And that light will be snuffed out when we're done with it.

What? Did you expect a cliche, "The light before the dawn," line? You should already know we don't go that way. We shun the light and hang out with the monsters. Because Monsters will hang out with Monsters. I, Fayt Hart, am Insanity in the Suit. And us HART folks, love to contradict the ordinary lives of everyday people. So let's make darkness an epidemic. Live the best of both worlds. Like we do. We're rolling on the river of darkness, and success is at the end.

It's all about determination and passion from here on out. We have the skills. We have the people. We need to strive more. And that will be the final judgement. Even if we fail, we'll rise up and try again. Because that's us. Snuff our light out and we rise in the dark. Take away our darkness and we'll shine brighter than anyone. Cocky, I know. But I have faith in our work. And I think you should all join our cemetery of hybrids. Because no matter what, we will not go down.

I talk too much.

Whelp, thanks for reading, as always.

Hey Everyone!

Hi. Hello and Sup Blogger,

It's been a while since a real update and so today I bring you...

A REAL UPDATE!
Bolding it up for awhile, I've been working on the HartDesigns1311 YouTube account and doing Video Blogs there. It's a lot of fun and there are a LOT of things you could see in the video that are repeated over and over again.
For example:
"Hi. Hello and Sup."
and of course, "BYEE!"

And for the real updates, Hart is working on a new series called Hart Pin-Ups. For those of you who don't know what pin-ups are, they...well you see...You know what? Just click here for the wiki page. Hart Pin-Ups will be purely black and white (PURE BLACK AND WHITE) with models of women. They won't necessarily be wearing vintage clothing but be nude.

Whoa, RED FLAG. NUDE!?

It will be sort of like our silhouette works. You won't be seeing her nude body entirely. We do not give out porn. But we do enjoy the beauties of the nude body. Especially the female's body. It'll be an entirely different section in our CafePress shop and, well, it's gon be good. Don't worry about it.

My last real update was showing you all the new phone case I have, which would be the Hart Bros vs the Octopus. It's pretty awesome, I'm not going to lie. Even Mark, from the Daily Harts videos, wanted one. If you would like one, or even just to look at it, click on the link below.

Countdown is at 2 after today's Daily Harts and Ester will be back in action. After his "shy" video, he will be updating you guys on his stuff and talking about life himself. Instead of me, and Mindy, and Mark, and Q, and Johnny.

I'm sure you're tired of our nonsense already.

Glad to have him back. He's ready to be more serious and to contribute more into our work. Tonight's Daily Hart will be done around 9 or 10 pm est. Stay tuned to see what's going.

Meanwhile, enjoy this short Daily Hart #11.

Also...EPIC LINK BLOG!

Thanks for reading, as always.

More Things of Things

Hi. Hello. Sup, Blogger,

iPhone 4 slider case has been finished and I ordered one for myself to check out how it comes out. Stay tuned to my blog to see the unboxing of it! Other than, if you haven't seen the new Daily Harts upload Ester will not be doing any video blogs until the magical number 13. After that I hope he'll get it up to speed.

As far as other updates...that's it really.

Enjoy that picture of the iPhone slider case.

More Class Things!

Hi, Hello, What's Going On, Sup Blogger,

http://www.designer-4-hire.com/daniel2/

What is that? What is it? It's a site. Yes, it is. A site of my dreams and a bit of explanation of myself. Where I want to go with Graphic Design, what I want to do and more. I did take a good while to think about it and I already knew I had a niche I just hadn't realized I enjoyed it so much to actually want to do it for a career. It's a difficult thing really because my sides love to conflict each other. But it's all fine. No worries. Really, don't worry. I do what I do because I love it. And if I can get paid for it, I'd be a camper of happiness.

That's all. Really. I mean- OH!

Wait no, that's it really. Take a look, let me know what you think. I know everything is flushed to the left. I kind of like it like that. You don't really see a lot of sites like that. I like to be different. (cliche)

CLASS THINGS!

Hi, Hello, Sup Blogger,

We created a, er...well...thing to show we- VISUAL Representation. There we go. Oh professionalism. Right. Here we go.

Ahem.

We had a project to show off our skills, actually proving that we can still use other programs since we've been looking and gazing romantically at code for about three months, and tell others what we have learned in our class and reading thus far. I chose a subject called LOGIN Syndrome.

What is it you ask? Well, click on the image below. That's what I made for the project.

Honestly, it's made of a design piece I had for my own stuff called Hart Designs but I needed something strong and clever. So this clever snake used a portion of the design and created this whole illustration, via illustrator, and put this lovely piece together.

In many frustrating hours of fighting toe to toe and eyeball to screen with the the constantly crashing program I FINALLY finished.

Like it? I do.

Quick Thing

"Well Hello.

I believe this is my first blog-like post on Wordpress so forgive me if I don't do this quite correctly. I am usually used to Blogger being my main source of blog posts but I am now separating alter ego with...well myself. Both are considered designers but one is more professional than self-promoting and self expressive. So, here I am. Daniel of Danny's Shadow Wordpress site on the Lurking Blog page.

Now you may say to yourself, "Oh, a dark themed page and a black, white and red banner. He must be all about the horror and monotonous color scheme designs." Truth is, I set my page up to represent myself with my own illustrations. However, I do designs in various genres. You may not, really expect it but I can do adorable and girly designs. (Speaking of which my actual handwriting is quite..."fancy.")

I, myself, am a more casual, laid back guy and easy to work with. I will try and strive to do the very best I can on whatever I'm given to the extent of my limitations and in hopes of furthering my threshold for limits. I don't like limits, Dan I am."

Is what I would have said if I did my Wordpress thing correctly. Which I didn't.
I would like to separate self-promotion and fun stuff blog with my other blog but both will be linked to each other. I would like to set up my Wordpress eventually but I think I'd better start on that social media site.

I'm Behind!

Hello Blogger,

I am Behind. Nice to meet you.

The week has been running me to the ground and grinding me pretty harshly. I was also a bit, sort of , kind of, sick the other day and all in all, feeling like utter Pomplamoose. I'm just using that Pomplamoose as a substitute for a word I have to refrain from saying while my blogs are actually being read by a certain...someone.

Really, though, Pomplamoose is this band with a vocalist by the name of Nataly Dawn, who's pretty well-known on YouTube. Her music is very, very good and she makes covers of music we hear everyday on the radio. Well, not that I hear, that most of you who listten to the radio hear and maybe enjoy. Some songs she covers come out surprisingly great, even for songs I don't really like at all that my sister plays in the car when we roadtrip somewhere.

Getting back on the main subject before that little explanation...Why yes, I've fallen behind. I knew school and work was going to be tough to juggle and I accept that. Stress levels are through the roof when your trainee challenges your work and word and relies a bit too much on you. Tough. I get the blame for their mistakes, I expected that. But I'm reteaching them EVERYTHING, almost EVERYDAY. It's been well over a month. WHY!?

Anyway, that's probably not only the thing. The new schedule I still find is hard to get used to.

This week we're working on Search Engine Optimization. I remember researching it a while back. So I remember quite a bit from it. The web banner has been made, and the content is coming as I remember the information while researching a bit at night when I come home before I literally K.O.

I'd say what I have for it but I'll let the content on the site be read by super linking...when it's there. Or...Screenshots galore. Either way, it'll be here in some way shape or form. The challenge isn't getting the site together really, although I'm trying to expand the way I use colors and whatnot, it's really just my focus. As Jackie Chan would say, "Your focus...needs more focus!"

Yeah, thanks Jackie. I'm on it. I think.

ON A SIDE NOTE:

Excitingly, Aria of the Opera has started (Chapter 2: Think of Me; is written in the book and Prologue+Chapter 1: Please is up on Booksie) and...well it has not many views. That's all right I've been missing from Booksie for a while and quite a few novels under my belt to finish. And I will, after this one. This one is rather important (as I've stated once before) and I sort of, kind of, want it to be finished for myself. It would lift a pretty boulder of my...face.

Well, recently I've gained a fan on Booksie that's actually rather...fan-ish. What I mean by that is that she's actually like...a fan fan. And I think it's always fun to interact with fans of my work. I do enjoy it and it's not often that I have fans, or followers, or friends (just kidding. I have friends...right?). And with me being gone from Booksie for so long, she actually remained fan-y. It's surprising. Last time I had a fan fan was a while ago and I think she still has a playlist of my songs. Actually, I know she does I actually sent her some stuff I never released and things I've deleted.

Anyway, I'd like to repay my dear WaitingForYou with a quick Literature Feature.

So here we go:

Her story is called The Boys Next Door, and it's a romance. Not something I'd really write and read, but hypocritically I'm writing one myself right now. So. Yeah. This story is about a girl by the name of Destiny who's pretty much in the background compared to her sister Kelly, who's her polar opposite. That is until a couple of boys move next door and don't seem to be interested in Kelly.

Eat it, Kelly! (ahem)

Anyway, give her story a read, comment on her story here or there. Any new views, reads, comments or Hi's are greatly appreciated, always.

Yes, she will be added to the Epic Link Blog blog post.

Does anyone play Zenonia 5 on their droid or IPhone? Let me know, should play with my brother and I!

Anyway, that's all I got for you!

As always, thanks for reading.

Week 2

Hello Blogger,

It is now week 2 in this new class with this hybrid schedule. Slowly getting used to it. Slowly. We're working on a 5pg website on copyright. I've researched copyright a few times and new a bit of information ahead of time. With all that in mind, I had some sort of head start in my website content, but not an awful lot.

For my site, I tried to target designers, to educate them on copyright while keeping a lighter feel to it. I tried to make it interesting to read and almost comical. I know there's a lot of content on these kinds of sites and not everyone has the audacity to stay up and read what's there. So, in my theory, if it's a wee-bit interesting, with some original speech and out-of-character content it should keep the viewer's attention more than a super content heavy site.

I also added images to help those who're a bit more visual learners. I used a site I use frequently called Booksie as my example and went as far as using YouTube's infamous Copyright Infringement on video messages on Rebecca Black's Friday song.

It's okay. It made me shiver too. All for the sake of annoying comedy.

That would be my site banner.
Like I said, I went for a more comical feel while still giving basic education on copyright to the viewer with designers as my main target.

On a side note...

For those of you who has been following me before...Yes I am using my own personal blog for class and personal things now. So, postings will be consisting both class work and my own work.

Speaking of my own work, I've finally obtained a roll of painter's tape. I think it's actual name was Stencil Tape. Makes me feel like I'm cheating now...Oh well.

My aim is to create a painting I call "Anti-Mondrian" style. The simple shapes and colors divided by a black or white line style he had was an interesting research a few months ago when my friend Mark brought it to the class's attention during a presentation. The paintings are so similar yet contain much thought process behind each thing. To know that we use the design today in magazines and layouts, is really actually quite astounding.

So, my aim with the painting, the "Anti-Mondrian" is to use the Mondrian design as a guide. Mr. Mondrian wasn't fond of diagonals. Which is what I'm going to try and attempt. A perspective Mondrian influenced painting to portray how long and how long will it last in years to come.

In other news, 007 Casino Royale with Daniel Craig as Bond came in. It's been a while since I first ordered it. First time it really took this long. Oh well, more to my unending Bond collection of DVDs!

And lastly, Aria of the Opera has been uploaded (Just Prologue, named Before the Curtain Rises..., and chapter one: Please). Link will be provided below.

That's all for now.
As always, thanks for reading.

I'm Back

Class is back in session. That means I am back as well. New schedules for class throughout the week, although that shouldn't stop the blogging. Over the break I didn't do much really. So, I'm hoping yours (in general) was better. I did, however, get a lot of bottles of rum and movies.

With that out of the way...

I stepped into class late. About 20 minutes late. Not just that, the parking was absolutely horrid. I did find one eventually. Sitting back in class in this new year seems a bit off. Must be me.

I understand we have a five page website to construct that talks a bit about Copyright. With a bit of research and illustrations the site should be good to go once I get all my ideas and planning down. It'll be a bit until I get the gears going again.

On a Side Note:

This part of the blog will be for personal rants and chats that touches upon games, movies and ideas, as well as other things. Whatever comes to mind really.

Well then, let's jog on (Simon Pegg reference):

Games:
I've obtained Resident Evil Revelations and Resident Evil Mercenaries. I do enjoy both to it's full potential. I always did like mercenaries and if I want a bit of story I have Revelations. I am currently looking for a reliable partner in Mercenaries. I've been doing okay, but the random partners don't back me up like my old partner does. She and I were in synced! I mean, we wouldn't be next to each other the WHOLE time, we need points and to keep the combo going. So, spreading out was our usual idea. However, we'd never go TOO far in case we made a mistake that our partner needs to save us from. Oh, Mama Niki, if only you have a 3DS for Resident Evil Mercenaries 3D, we'd be reunited for death again.
Fate Extra hasn't been touched. I got to the 6th round and I have NO INFORMATION of my enemy whatsoever. Arena's been killing me...Each run.

Movies:
I bought a few DVDs worth mentioning and warning about. Simon Pegg's Run Fatboy Run is an amazingly beautiful movie. Dennis (Simon Pegg) ran out on his wife on the altar while pregnant with his son, whom he calls Snottface. Five years later, he still loves her and wants to atone for it. However, she has a new boyfriend who's too perfect, earning him the nickname Perfect Pete (Or Peter Perfect...dyslexia). With some taunting and manhood testing, Dennis decides to prove to himself that he's good enough by running a marathon with her new boyfriend to show everyone he can, indeed, finish something. Only problem he's fa- unfit. Definitely worth the watch for a good laugh.

Chernobyl Dairies was...mediocre I have to say. It's just my opinion. I called everything that was going to happen and the commercials and advertising was more exciting. There were some good parts but it seems like another version of Hill Have Eyes. Sort of...You know with the whole mutation thing. Scariest part is knowing that Chernobyl actually exists. Good thing about the movie though, is that it's highly suspenseful.

Of course, I bought James Bond movies, but they're all awesome so no need for explanations.

Ideas:
Hart Designs will be starting up again. Ester went through some rough times. So, a moment of silence for his dear grandpa Keith who passed away last week. He was an important figure in his life, as well as an important person to me as well. He spoke to me, making things a bit clearer on what I'd want to do in life. He's a sturdy, tough person but he's always had good intentions. The words he spoke to me the night I sat at Ester's grandparent's place while Ester was inside getting something will always remind me of him and I will always remember how it helped me see the world better.

He brought to my attention that things you want done has to be done, by you. Things can be done for you by other people, sure. But trust can only go so far. Grandpa Keith did everything himself, with his own two hands and even gave me examples of what he did in his own home. With those words in my head, I look at my own two hands and I will shape my life with his words in my heart. Rest in Peace, sir.

That's all for now.

As always, thanks for reading.

DON'T FORGET TO...blah blah blah blah.

Here are some people who deserve some views, reads and critiques. They are all amazing at what they do and deserve more recognition.
